The Somerset Sound is an online repository of personal music history, compiled by the two Atlanta musicians what done it. From the early 1980s to the present, drummer Mitchell Sosebee has held the beat down for everything from punk and new wave to hard rock and jam bands. Ryan Taylor came to Atlanta in 1986 to find a place in the city's electronic music scene, providing guitar, bass, keyboards to a range of artists and bands. The two met in the mid-1990s and have since worked together in a number of projects, from backing drag queens to making ambient elecro-rock, playing stinky clubs and groovy festivals, early in the morning and late into the night.

Herewith is a collection (in progress) of audio and video artifacts charting almost 30 years on the Atlanta scene. And they're still going.
